Regarding caring practices, residents are consistently treated with dignity and respect, with staff building positive and kind relationships. Residents and their families feel that the home is a true home, and staff are seen as part of the family.

On responsiveness, the service actively involves residents in their care planning and daily lives, ensuring their choices and preferences are central to the support they receive. Families are welcomed and encouraged to participate in meetings, and the home adapts well to residents' changing needs.

The leadership of the service, however, requires improvement. While the registered manager is approachable and staff feel supported, there are areas such as the robustness of audits and the accessibility of information within care plans that need attention. These are being addressed.
