Malmesbury Lawn Care Home offers a supportive environment for up to 35 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 22 residents were living at the home, with numbers reduced in anticipation of refurbishment. This report summarises findings from a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
In terms of safety, residents felt secure and protected from harm, with robust safeguarding procedures and well-trained staff. Risk assessments were comprehensive and regularly updated, and safety equipment was well-maintained. In its leadership, the home was well-led, with a registered manager who demonstrated a positive example and fostered a relaxed, respectful atmosphere. Staff felt supported, confident in their roles, and encouraged to challenge practices for the benefit of residents. Systems were in place for quality monitoring and continuous improvement.
