The home also works effectively with external healthcare professionals.

Regarding caring practices, residents feel supported by a stable team of staff who know them well and respond promptly to their needs. Relatives have reported positively on the quality of care and the professional handling of any issues. Staff are trained to recognise and act on safeguarding concerns, and there are clear policies and procedures in place.

In terms of being well-led, the home now has a registered manager in post supported by a stable team, who are clear about their roles and committed to improving the service. Systems are in place for identifying and addressing risks, and lessons are learned from incidents. The manager is proactive in seeking feedback and support, and staff feel confident raising concerns, knowing they will be addressed.
