Concerning how responsive the service is, care plans are personalised and kept up-to-date with residents' assessed needs. Activities are provided to engage residents, and residents are supported to maintain independence. The home has a clear complaints policy, and feedback from residents and relatives is actively sought and listened to.
On how well-led the service is, systems are in place to monitor quality effectively. Staff and relatives have confidence in the management team, and staff feel well-supported. Confidentiality is maintained, and residents' personal records are stored securely. Staff are aware of whistleblowing procedures, ensuring concerns about poor practice would be addressed appropriately. The premises are well-maintained and decorated to support residents living with dementia.
