Regarding caring practices, residents and their families consistently praise the staff for their kindness, empathy, and gentleness. Staff are adept at supporting residents through anxieties and offering compassionate reassurance. The home environment is welcoming, and residents' rooms are personalised. Staff actively involve families and friends, creating an open visiting policy.
In terms of responsiveness, staff know residents very well, understanding their individual preferences and needs, including communication. Residents are encouraged to stay active through varied activities both at home and in the community. Families know how to raise concerns, and the home is receptive to feedback.
Finally, on being well-led, the management team actively monitors quality through various systems and uses feedback for improvement. Issues identified during the inspection were addressed promptly. Both staff and residents speak highly of the registered manager and provider, who are seen as approachable and supportive. The home has also made improvements to its garden accessibility.
