Residents' nutritional needs are well understood and met with choice and flexibility, and they have timely access to necessary healthcare services.
On caring practices, staff are described as kind and patient, possessing a good understanding of residents' individual needs which facilitates effective communication and promotes dignity, privacy, and independence. Residents feel involved in decisions about their care, and interactions are consistently relaxed and friendly.

A clear complaints procedure is in place, and residents feel confident that their concerns would be heard and addressed. The home also offers a range of activities catering to different abilities and interests, available seven days a week.
Finally, concerning how well-led the service is, there is a positive and inclusive culture with good communication and staff understanding of their responsibilities. The home actively engages in quality assurance processes that drive improvements, and has established valuable links with local universities for staff development and training, contributing to safe and effective practice.
