Residents and their families are consulted throughout the care planning process, and there is a low level of complaints, all handled appropriately.
Concerning how well-led the service is, there is a positive and person-centred culture evident, with staff and residents feeling involved and consulted. Communication channels are effective, and achievements are celebrated. The senior management team understands and adheres to their legal responsibilities, including the Duty of Candour. Governance processes, such as regular audits, are in place to ensure continuous improvement and oversight of the service.
