In terms of caring, residents and their relatives spoke highly of the staff, describing them as kind and caring individuals who treated everyone with politeness and respect. Staff actively respected residents' privacy and dignity, and positive interactions were frequently observed.
The service was responsive to residents' needs, with care plans now being more person-centred and providing clear, organised information. The home also received commendations from relatives for its quality of end-of-life care. Feedback mechanisms were in place, including regular meetings and surveys, to ensure residents' views were heard.
On how well-led the service is, regular audits and quality assurance checks were conducted to monitor performance. Staff felt well-supported by the registered manager, and the overall culture of the home was focused on meeting the needs of the people living there.
