The service was found to be caring. Staff were consistently described as kind, patient, and compassionate, with a good understanding of residents' needs and a proactive approach to managing anxiety. Relatives and residents provided positive feedback on the staff's demeanour and interactions.

Regarding how responsive the service is, improvements are needed in ensuring care plans are consistently person-centred and that activities are sufficiently varied and accessible for all residents, especially those with limited mobility. There were also instances where informed consent for sharing images and videos was not consistently obtained.

Finally, on how well-led the service is, the report identifies a need for more robust quality assurance measures and a review of management culture. Some records were not consistently up to date, and there were indications of a blame culture between management and staff, impacting overall governance. The provider is working on addressing these points.
