Rosecroft is a small residential care home in Greatstone, Kent, providing personal care and support for up to five adults with learning disabilities. At the time of this inspection, four people were living at the home. Residents experience genuinely caring and person-centred support, with staff treating them with kindness, patience, and respect. Communication is supported effectively through tools like Makaton and communication cards, allowing residents to express their preferences and maintain their daily routines comfortably.
The service is highly responsive to residents' individual choices and changes in their needs, encouraging independence in washing, dressing, and enjoying the garden. Relatives and visitors are warmly welcomed, and residents are supported to maintain regular contact with their families and friends.
Leadership is strong and transparent, with a visible and approachable registered manager who leads by example and fosters an open culture. The management team actively seeks feedback from staff, professionals, and residents, and is committed to continuous learning and working in partnership with external agencies to maintain high standards of care.
