3L Care - Atherton

Care plans were developed collaboratively with residents, relatives, and health professionals, ensuring all eventualities were considered for complex needs.

The caring aspect of the service was highly regarded by residents and their relatives. Staff were consistently described as compassionate, treating residents with kindness, dignity, and respect. There was a strong emphasis on empowering residents and promoting their independence, with staff holding high expectations of what residents could achieve. Care was delivered in line with individual wishes and preferences, making a significant positive impact on residents' lives.

Responsiveness was a key strength of 3L Care - Atherton. Residents and their families were fully involved in care planning, ensuring they felt heard and valued. Assessments and care plans were kept up-to-date to reflect evolving needs. The home provided social and leisure activities tailored to individual preferences, supporting residents to maintain relationships and engage with the local community. The complaints process was effective, with issues being addressed and action taken.

Regarding leadership, the service was described as well-led and managed. Management was visible, approachable, and fostered an open, honest, and supportive culture. Regular audits and monitoring tools were in place, and any identified issues were addressed to drive continuous improvement. Staff were encouraged to contribute to service development, and feedback was actively sought from residents and their relatives, who spoke confidently about the management team.
