In terms of how effective the care is, residents receive personalised care plans based on their assessed needs, and staff are well-trained and supported. The home is also well-adapted to meet residents' needs, with ongoing improvements to decoration and furnishings, and residents' legal rights are protected concerning decision-making capacity.

Regarding how caring the service is, staff are noted to know residents well, treating them with dignity and respect, and actively involving them in their care decisions. Equality and diversity are respected, and residents are supported to maintain their independence. Family forums and resident meetings are in place to gather feedback and foster community. In terms of how responsive the service is, care plans are personalised to reflect residents' individual needs and preferences, and the home actively responds to complaints and concerns. The provider uses feedback to improve care quality, and residents are supported to have choice and control over their lives.

Finally, on how well-led the service is, the provider and managers have established governance systems that ensure oversight and monitoring of the service. They are open and honest in dealing with concerns, and managers are accessible and conduct regular quality checks. While a new manager had recently been appointed and was in the process of registration, the service demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement and learning from incidents.
