The inspection was prompted by concerns received from the public, and while it did not examine the circumstances of a specific incident subject to investigation, it found that the service had learned from past events and implemented improvements. The home provides a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led service.
On safety, the home has robust recruitment practices and sufficient staff to meet residents' needs. Risks are assessed, and plans are in place to minimise them, with lessons learned from incidents to prevent recurrence. Medicines management has improved, with safe administration procedures and training for staff.
