Following an unannounced inspection on 25 February 2021, this report specifically examined how the provider manages infection prevention and control measures in response to concerns raised prior to the visit. Families considering this facility will find that the home implemented robust procedures to navigate pandemic challenges while supporting residents' daily lives and connections.

When it comes to keeping people safe from infection, the home demonstrated strong practices across the board. The service was fully engaged with COVID-19 testing and vaccination programmes, ensuring both residents and staff followed current testing guidance and offering vaccines to those who wanted them. Clear signage was placed around the building to encourage social distancing and proper hand hygiene. Staff correctly used personal protective equipment, supported by conveniently located PPE stations throughout the home, and the provider maintained an up-to-date infection prevention policy.
