Regarding caring practices, residents experience kind and compassionate relationships with staff who know them well and treat them with dignity and respect. The atmosphere is warm and positive, with staff interacting calmly and reassuringly, fostering a sense of family and consistency in care.
The service is responsive, involving residents in the development of their personalised support plans and encouraging participation in enjoyable activities. Feedback mechanisms are in place for residents and their relatives, with a clear complaints procedure available should it be needed.
In terms of how well-led the service is, staff consistently report good support from the management team, who are available to provide guidance. The quality and safety of care are effectively monitored, with identified issues acted upon to drive ongoing service improvements. A new home manager is actively being supported through the registration process.
