The service facilitated access to healthcare professionals and ensured residents' consent was obtained for care, respecting their capacity to make decisions.
In terms of caring, residents consistently described staff as kind and welcoming, highlighting the respect for their privacy and dignity. The environment was maintained to a high standard, resembling a "five-star hotel," and residents felt encouraged to maintain their independence. Positive feedback indicated residents felt well-supported in their recovery and overall well-being.
On responsiveness, residents had opportunities for socialisation and participation in activities if they chose, with staff being attentive to their needs. Care records were comprehensive and contained all necessary information. The service provided clear complaint procedures, ensuring residents' concerns could be addressed.
In terms of being well-led, quality assurance checks were regularly completed by the registered manager, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining expected standards. Resident feedback was actively sought and acted upon, leading to improvements. There was strong management oversight, fostering a positive working relationship between staff and management, with staff feeling supported and valued.
